Mary is warm, compassionate, and visionary in her counseling approach. She seeks to create space for others to exist free from shame and judgment. Her work is grounded in the belief that individuals have inherent worth and dignity, and she utilizes this understanding to draw out natural strengths and collaboratively assist clients in the development of their unique selves.

In her therapeutic work, Mary draws from Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness/self-compassion techniques, and trauma-informed care. She has experience working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, life transitions, and grief. In addition, she enjoys identity work, working with highly sensitive persons (HSP), coaching in healthy relationship skills, and faith and spiritual integration.

Mary received her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College Graduate School and a B.A. in Psychology from Asbury University. She has experience working in both community mental health and private practice settings.

“Life may bend you, but it cannot break your essence. Even after the storm, even after the silence, you rise—not untouched, but undefeated. The rising is not just survival; it is declaration. You are not the things that happened to you. You are the strength that answered back.”
