Child & Teen Counseling — Parenting Support in Cincinnati, OH

Time to feel better.

Are you considering counseling for your child (ages 8+) or teenager? At Trinitas Counseling, we look at youth mental health through a relational and attachment lens. We recognize that beneath acting out, withdrawal, anxiety, or intense emotional distress is often a young person struggling to process big feelings or feeling disconnected from their safe anchors.

Our skilled counselors provide a compassionate space where kids and teens can feel genuinely seen, process difficult emotions, and develop healthy coping tools. We offer child, teen, and family therapy in Cincinnati, Ohio, available in-person at our Kenwood office or virtually through Ohio telehealth sessions.

Areas of Support for Children, Teens & Families.

We partner with young people and their parents to help restore emotional safety, confidence, and connection:

  • Anxiety, OCD & Compulsive Behaviors: Helping youth find relief from panic, social anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and health worries by building internal safety.

  • Emotional Regulation & ADHD: Developing practical tools for executive functioning, stress tolerance, and navigating big emotions without shutting down or exploding.

  • School Stress & Social Dynamics: Navigating academic pressure, perfectionism, school refusal, and relational challenges with peers.

  • Depression & Isolation: Helping adolescents process low motivation, sadness, and self-doubt while gently reconnecting them to the world around them.

  • Family Transitions & Grief: Processing divorce, loss, moves, or life shifts within a supportive relational context.

  • Family Therapy & Parenting Support: Equipping parents with practical strategies to strengthen communication, repair moments of disconnection, de-escalate tension, and build a secure home environment.

You are not alone.

We deeply believe that parents are the ultimate resource for a child’s healing. Rather than working with your child in isolation, we offer attachment-informed parenting guidance and family support to actively involve you in the process.

We equip you with the insights and tools needed to respond to your child’s emotional needs, de-escalate behavioral cycles, and foster deep connection. By strengthening your family’s emotional bond, we create a secure, grounded base that empowers your child or teenager to step into the world with confidence, resilience, and lasting peace.
