Jessica Carlin, MA, LPCC
Jessica brings warmth and authenticity to her therapeutic work. Her work with couples focuses on strengthening the relationship and the bond between partners and helping them move from disconnection and conflict toward security, healing, and closeness. Jessica's approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a clinically proven model that helps couples break negative cycles and build safe, lasting connections.
Jessica also sees individual clients aged 13 and older. She has experience working with clients struggling with a variety of issues, including life transitions, OCD, anxiety, depression, and grief. Jessica is especially passionate about helping clients to develop skills to better regulate their emotions and deal with distressing thoughts and feelings so that they can respond thoughtfully to situations rather than merely reacting to them.
Jessica works with a wide variety of clients from different backgrounds and belief systems and is happy to integrate clients’ values and spiritual beliefs into their work together.
Jessica is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She obtained her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University and her BA in Honors Psychology from Vanderbilt University. She has also completed additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
